Leadership Info

Date July 8, 2009

Haven’t updated this blog for some time, so I thought it time that I at least directed you to some great leadership resources, if I don’t have the time to be creating it myself.

Leadership Resources – This is a post from leadership -blog.co.uk that lists 240 great websites that he’s been on! What a list!

Leadership info - A lovely little leadership site I discovered from Google a while back.

Institute Of Leadership and Management - An active organisation that I have alot of respect for.

So there you go. A few good leadership resources to get you going on :) .

An organization makes collective decisions through neither markets nor contracts. Instead, rational agents voluntarily choose to follow a leader. In many cases, incentive problems are solved: the unique non degenerate equilibrium achieves the first best, even though every agent has incentives to free ride. The leader has no special talents but is distinguished by getting exclusive access to information. A crucial feature is that the leader reveals part but not all of her information. It is this maintenance of informational asymmetry that permits achieving the first best.

I am in the ministry myself, and I have found out through the years, that the greatest way that I can acquire the skills for leadership that I need to do God’s work, is to just to look unto Jesus, and trust his Holy Spirit to lead me and guide me, and to teach me the things that I need to know.

I think that As a leader responsible for the competitive development of your organisation, as well as a desire to keep ahead of the game, you have a responsibility to ensure that you are fully aware of new strategies and developments that can impact upon your personal growth as a leader of others…
